I would like an impact study on the millions of pounds of batteries that we will have to find a home for when they have expired. I’m not sure how many pounds of batteries are in each vehicle, but I’m guessing it’s somewhere around 4 to 500 pounds. With millions of cars Sold each year that will hit their end of life at the same time, I’m guessing there is going to be a huge problem with lithium batteries in the environment in our future

One of the biggest parts of engine breakin is expansion & contraction. Warm the new engine up to op temp then let it cool to ambient temp which will take ablout 5 hours. Do it as often as you can. Toyotas owners manuals say the engine breakin period is 761 miles. So, I would do the first oil change at 800 or 1000 to flush all the extra metal out of the engine caused by all the tight new parts wearing in OR breakin. !

I will love to see diesel having a future in passenger automotive engines. I own a diesel engine powered car . I love every bit of it. The electric motor will be great for off the line performance and straight line.
